Out of mind but filled with joy
A year ago, we shared a dream: to offer young people with vulnerabilities a concrete opportunity for professional and personal growth during the summer months. Today, that dream has become tangible reality, made of acquired skills, renewed confidence, and diplomas to be awarded.
The Costa Family Foundation celebrates the success of its first project in South Tyrol: Vegabula Summer Edition 2025, the socio-professional inclusion pathway realized in collaboration with the Hotel Management School of Brunico, concluded with results that exceeded all expectations.
During summer 2025, within Vegabula - the vegan educational restaurant in Brunico open to the public - 20 young people with vulnerabilities had the opportunity to train with expert chefs, participate in specialized workshops, and grow professionally and personally in a protected yet stimulating environment.
Vegabula has proven to be truly a place of dialogue, innovation, and connection between different worlds: young people with different abilities; school and work; students and the community; humans and nature.
It revealed itself to be truly a place of meeting, union, and beauty. A place of experimentation and openness where teachers carried out the project with love and dedication. A protected space where the most vulnerable young people managed to find their dimension and express their full potential: unique, diverse, and unrepeatable.
The pilot project supported by the Costa Family Foundation in collaboration with the Hotel Management School of Brunico allowed the young participants to continue their growth journey during the summer, demonstrating that inclusion is not just an ideal but a daily practice that produces concrete results.
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, from noon, in the enchanting setting of the garden of Hotel La Perla in Corvara (Murin), nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, the third edition of CFF Friends will take place: a charity lunch to celebrate the achievements and raise funds for Vegabula 2026.
The day will be dedicated to celebration and gratitude: Riccardo Forzan, Executive Chef - Hotel La Perla, will prepare specialties to delight the palate, while live music by "Le Fiabe di John" and Nico Platter will accompany this special moment. The true protagonists will be our young people who, together with their families and teachers, will receive diplomas certifying their growth journey.
The cost of lunch is 90€ and all proceeds will go towards Vegabula 2026, to ensure that this transformative experience can continue and reach other young people.
