Two seasons were all chef Simone Cantafio and all his collaborators needed to bring the Michelin star back to Stüa de Michil, Hotel La Perla’s gourmet restaurant. Two seasons that saw the culinary encounter of East and West, which could not have been done without Simone’s long residency on the Japanese island of Hokkaido leading the Bras family's two Michelin-starred restaurant Toya.
But there’s also a new and important addition to the work of the kitchen, sala, and cantina team, who ingeniously and creatively lead the elements of nature, the seasons, vegetation, respect, and harmony into a dynamic dance. A website dedicated entirely to Stüa de Michil, which in its twenty years of honorary service has never had one all for itself. It is a simple, straightforward site, soberly showcasing a few essential ingredients with one common leitmotif: they offer a glance into the world of art, gastronomy, and oenology of the Ladin microcosm.
